The Today show aired a segment about sexting Thursday. Matt Lauer spoke to a social media expert and child and teen development specialist about what teen sexting is like.
Lauer said:
I’m trying to be not too graphic with this, but according to this research and according to anecdotal evidence, a teenage boy will be sitting in a classroom, there’ll be a teenage girl he’s never even talked to. He will pick up the phone and text something like, “Do you want to hook up?” or “I want to do this to you are you willing?”
