We Heart It

An unnamed Russian man plans to build and live in a replica of the house from “The Simpsons.”

According to The Moscow Times, the abode will be built just outside of Moscow and will house the 35-year-old man, along with his wife and child.

Think of all the different couch gags he’ll be able to recreate!

The house is said to cost approximately 5 million rubles or around $80,000, which isn’t all that much for a home, at least according to American standards.

This isn’t the first time someone created a copy of the house Homer that built.

In 1997, a “Simpsons”-style home was built in Nevada as part of a contest put on by Fox and Pepsi. The house was meant to be raffled off to one lucky winner.

However, said winner chose to take a cash prize instead of the home.

The house has since been remodeled, which is a terrible waste of pink paint.

Things might get a little weird living in a real-world home that is identical to a fictional construct. As long as this father doesn’t start strangling his son on a regular basis, I think it’ll all be just fine.

It may even become a tourist attraction for hardcore “Simpsons” fans. We can only hope.
